HAVING READ ONE OF YOUR LETTERS I TOO HAD A SIMILAR COMPLAINT AGAINST SEVERN TRENT WATER & THEIR HOME SERVICE. THE COLD WATER FEED PIPE TO MY BATHROOM SINK LEAKED. CALLED FOR HOMESERVE WHO RESPONDED WITHIN THE HOUR {THIS BEEN 22.00}. THE PLUMBER TOOK 5MINS TO ASSESS PROBLEM THEN LEFT SAYING SOMEONE WOULD BE BACK THE FOLLOWING DAY {SUNDAY}. NO RETURN, MEANWHILE I AM CONSTANTLY EMPTYING A BOWL OF WATER FROM THE LEAKING PIPE. PHONED AGAIN SUNDAY EVENING, AGAIN MONDAY MORNING WITH THEM REPLYING 'WE WILL GET RIGHT BACK TO YOU BEFORE 10.30AM'. TUESDAY MORNING SAME REPLY AND STILL EMPTYING BOWL AFTER BOWL. WEDNESDAY I PHONED AGAIN WITH A RESULT, THEY CAME OUT {DIFFERENT PLUMBER THOUGH} AT 11.30 & LEFT AT 14.45 JOB COMPLETE. I DREAD TO THINK HOW SOMEONE EITHER DISABLED OR INCAPABLE WOULD OF COPED
