My complaint may appear minor but it is causing distress to the tenants in  Highfield Crescent, Halesowen.
I have phoned Dudley council at least 6 times asking them to mow the grass in the crescent and have been promised call backs each time.
I have heard nothing and the grass has still to be cut. It looks disgraceful as it is about 3ft high & has turned to hay- it hasn't been cut at all this year.
I know one of the tenants is suffering severely from hay fever as a direct result of this and the children love playing in it-you can't even see the smaller children as the grass is so tall!!!!
This occurred last year also & by the time the council sent someone to cut it the grass had died & looked a real mess..
I don't see why I have to continually phone Dudley Council to prompt them to do their job when my council tax is paying for this service!
I am not a council tenant and I'm sure if I wanted to sell my property the state of the grass would affect prospective sales!
This morning I phoned them again and asked for the complaints dept but was told a message to them would be passed on and they would contact me. I hold out no hope for a call back!
