I have ordered a brand new Sydney 3 seater + 2 seater leather recliner
sofa on 20 July 2003. Goods were delivered as promised but we found that
the 3 seaters was defective. The legs of the sofa were missing so you
couldn't sit properly on the sofa and the back of the leather of the
sofa was scratched. I complained immediately to the shop.
Four months gone but no positive action was taken. They just ignored my complaints. I was told that the new one will be ordered and replaced but so far nothing done. I have complained to their Managing Director's personal assistant but also in-and-out of flowing letters but no action taken. I have given them one year to fix this problem. I found myself too patient to trust them that they will solve it for me. The payment was interest free and financed by the HFC Bank so I talked to the HFC bank and a complaint file was opened. The Bank has helped to investigate the case but so far still no action taken by Courts, Watford Branch. I have spoken to the Trading Standards and they have given some advice for me to take action. One year later, this case still not being solved and I doubt why people still expect Courts to provide good service to the customers. I will never come back to Courts to buy anything in my life and I want to share this unfortunate experience with anyone I know. |

The horror stories about Courts are just never ending and all we can do is
to repeat the above claimant: Why do people expect Courts to provide a good service to the customer ??? They take your money before they deliver the goods, they do not address customers complaints and their Head Office does not answer any letters. If this is what you want then Courts is for you |
